The sun soaked castle

The breeze is light,

The sun soaks the castle with heat,

The people always farming and building makes it seem so alive.

The walls built so high and strong makes the castle feel safe.

Huge towers that look beyond the city's indestructible walls with windows that look so small,

The lookout is always awake and ready,

People celebrating and having fun,

Drinking wine and mead as the kids run around playing tag.

The king on his throne chest high and proud of what he and the city's people have made.

As i soar above a smile comes across my beak

Today was the jousting tournament,

The knights in their silver and gold armour glimmering in the sun,

Staring each other in the eyes like two cowboys from the wild west,

They would shout charge and the horse would run,

The horse in identical armour to the knight at top speed looked like a blur,

The man would lean forward and put out his jous,

It would go straight into the other man's tummy,

Without making a noise he would fall,

Haray haray the crowd would cheer in joy and the other man would give up his gold

As the day went on it got darker,

Along with the light the heat went to,

Everyone now asleep the city is silent,

Smoke coming from stone chimneys filling the air with the smell of burnt wood,

The walls now extra guarded as the kingdom is asleep,

Blake party

CRAFT: Hurry up dad were going to be late I shouted. I am not going to be late this time (still thinking about the time I forgot Caleb's birthday). I picked up my pink present for Blake. By the way we only had pink wrapping paper left but he'll just have deal with it.

We got to laser tag 3 minutes late to be greeted by Blake screaming sarcastically “you’re 3 minutes late!. We got into the gun room and chose teams. it was me, Blake, Caleb and Blake's cousin. First round we lost but I came first with points. Second round was the fun one because it was us versus adults and guess who won? Yup, it was us!                                                                                                                                                                 

And I came second overall.

We than drove to Blake’s Mums gym and played on the treadmills and played hide and seek. My favorite part was when his Mum brought out the mini tramps and I got Brayden and Caleb Sanko to stand behind one. one at a time. First I jumped over Brayden. With my hands on his shoulders I flung myself over. I thought that was to easy so I made Braden put his head down. I backed up and ran forward and jumped of the tramp with all my might. I flew through the air and went right over Brayden. I was so happy but it still wasn't good enough so when Brayden went to get food I got Caleb S. He stood in front of the trampoline. He asked if he should put his head down but I said no. He was quite worried. I got ready ran like before and flew through the air nearly touching him but I did it. I was so excited and I knew the day would only get better.

Next was the pinata. I was third. I was the strongest there so I had a lot of confidence but that confidence went nowhere as i had a horrible shot at the feet which did’nt even have lollies in them. I was kinda annoyed how I ruined my chance but at least more people get to have a go, well at least one more I guess it would be more if Brayden followed the rules and hit straight down even though Mel just told us not to! It went crashing to the ground and there was no way of pinning it back up so me and blake ran in and smashed it and ripped it to pieces! Out came a million lollies. I ran in and took as much as I could and me and Blake ran off shouting mine. We hid in a little room and shared our lollies. Caleb soon found our hiding place but we told him to sit 1 meter away from us. We had so many lollies that we couldn't eat them all at the gym so we took them home.

That night we played some Call of Duty Black Ops 3 and minecraft. We were in the middle of a game then all of a sudden we got a text on the xbox from a random stranger. Blake sprung into action and started chatting. He wanted to play minecraft with us and at that exact moment Mel called out called us for dinner. Worst timing we said to each other. After dinner me Blake and Caleb went on the xbox and played minecraft. He was really nice.

Night time was the worst. At first it was fun but I got so tired and started kicking Blake and Caleb when they talked but we soon got to sleep. We woke up at 7. Me and Caleb wanted to play with that dude who we played with last night but we just talked instead since blake thought we might wake his mum up. We soon went on the xbox after his mum told us to go to sleep but we just closed the door.

After a few hour of gaming Blakes mum Mel came home from the gym and told us that we were going 4 wheel driving. Blake was so excited but soon found himself bored out of his mind. I was bored, Caleb was really sick and Blake sick and bored

After that we got dropped of home. Lucky I was first because I could show him my room. What a shame Holly messed it up. Maybe I can show him when he comes one day.

Raft making at gpc

"yes finally raft time" I said to Brayden and Caroline as I skipped down the hill. This is going to be my favorite task I thought. When we got down to the lake there was a pile of life jackets. I put one on but I didn't keep it for long as it was freezing cold! "ah jees that's cold" came out of my mouth as soon as I put it on. Brayden had already put his on and said "oh come on Ryan its not that cold" well it is for me it was! I went to feel the water luckily the water was warmer then the life jacket. it was time to make our raft. their was a pile of materialises. we had to grab

• 8 planks of wood
• 8 fuel cans  
• 6 pieces of ropes 
• 2 strong ropes 

Were all ready and set lets start building. the girls stool all our good fuel cans instead of going and getting them from the pile. aye those are our cans you took them we all said to the girls. our parent told us not to worry and told us a secret "don´t put to much wood on or it will sink" Richards dad whispered to us. we moaned and said their going to win. Richie's dad said back to us "no they will not. if you have a look theirs its got to wood much witch is heavy so its going to sink". We listened to him.

 

a couple minutes later it was done, it had a can at every 4 corners and one in the middle of the woods of plank, we had one log across the middle for our feet. we only had 5 wood planks. like he said we kept it light.

there was one last thing we had to do. Test it. i was so happy to find out that it flouted.

It's a cold night You and your friend are on your way to your grandfather's house. A strange object runs in front of your ute but at that point it's too late black ice takes over so you swerve of the road and crash right into the dead forest!

                    Chapter 2

                           The arrival

Arghhhhhh you scream as your life flashes before you. Your car won't stop rolling down the hill until all of a sudden you come to a holt! You look  down out your window to see 500ft below you your certain death you grab onto a tree branch and climb down to a sudden CRUNCH and SCREAM. you look to see where it came from but all you see is darkness and dead tree’s. Adrenaline rushing through your veins you sprint to th- *BANG* your car falls of the vines and you hear crows squawking

                    Chapter 3    

                            Life fades into death

You go to the wreckage to see your dead friend with no sign of life . You get the emergency axe to face the horrors that will come your way(because obviously every car has an emergency axe). With a tear dripping down your face You walk toward the noises and you see a tall slender man walking away from a girl! A girl with no eyes! You stare in horror as she whimpers in pain. You try to help but she whispers her last words to you to “run while you can”

                           Chapter 4

                        Run

                                           

You look to your right then to your left the tall slender man is looking at you ,then you run as fast as you can trying not to look back because you realise it's the one and only iconic slender man. You here him coming after you. You find an old rusty shack and hide in it. You decide to bunker down under the bed for the rest of the night.

                       Sleep tight

In the middle of the night you wake up to realize your back on the road and driving you think it was all a dream till all of a sudden a strange object runs in front of your ute oh god here we go again.

Athletics Day

On the 9th of November our whole school had Athletics Day. For some this was the worst day ever and for others this was the one of the best. We the year fives started at High Jump. The first two jumps were easy. The third one was really hard. Cooper and Richie were the only ones who got over. Next was Shot Put I got double fours. After that it was morning tea. I had some boiled eggs and then ran off to play on the High Jump mat. After getting told of for playing on the mat I went to practice sprints. My favorite sport was hurdles. I did quit good on it to and got a three. The day went on and at the end we had relays. I can't say much about relays though since I left as soon as they started with my mum.

Halloween disco

Last Thursday we got our groove on at the halloween school disco. People came in costumes as this was a time to have fun. The hall was filled with kids and don't forget the toilet paper, it was every where. There were many unique costumes like Mr V as a midget. There was a snack bar that was crowded all the time but why wouldn't it be as it had so many tasty delicious treats. The toilet paper was flying everywhere. Near the end, one song came on that surely got the crowd up and moving. That song  was YMCA. All of us were dancing to the song. Time flew  and what was one hour felt like fifteen minutes. It was the end of the 2016 Halloween Disco. ^RP

My animal

This creature lived 30,000 years ago when humans didn't exist. The korogonissaur evolved  over the years to have greater speed and agility . It's one third wolf, one third kangaroo and one third squirrel anatomy makes it perfect for grassland and for speed. The korogonissaur is a widespread animal preying on elk, dodos, wolfs and small horses. Like the allosaurus it produces all the bite power from its powerful neck. It's kangaroo legs are good for speed when chasing elk, wolves and horses and the legs are good also for jumping. This adaptation is helpful when attacking things bigger than them like bison and Mammoths although they would only attack Mammoths if blood thirsty . This creature died out after thriving here for 100,000 years before humans came.

The arrival of humans affected this creacher in two ways. One is that the humans were killing all the elk and horses so they didn't have much to eat. Secondly is that the humans were chopping trees down so there was no shelter from the scorching sun and when you're really hot you feel listless so the korogonissaur could not really hunt and since humans killed all the elk and horses they had to adventure out further in search of food but they would be too tied so like the megalodon it died from starvation.
